Bildy as a Runway alternative
Runway builds its own Gen-4 models and sells them inside an editor with storage and collaboration. Bildy runs Gen-4.5 and Gen-4 Image among 43 models from several companies, and charges per generation.

Bildy prices are Pro billed yearly. We read the Runway prices on 17 September 2026 from runway.com/pricing, on their Standard, billed annually, and we convert dollars at one euro to 1.08 dollars. Every row here is a figure Runway publishes. They sell credits in tiers, so their larger plans cost less per credit than the one quoted, and they can change a price at any time. You can run Runway Gen-4.5 on Bildy, and you pay less per second for it
We buy Gen-4.5 through Replicate at $0.12 a second and add the markup on a credit. Runway charges 12 credits a second, and on Standard billed annually a credit costs $0.0192, so the same second is about twice the price. A credit costs less on their bigger plans, and on Max they charge less per second than we do.
Runway gives you an editing timeline, and Bildy gives you a model picker
Runway sells a video editor with a timeline, storage and shared projects. If you cut video all day you are paying them for more than the generations. Bildy has an image editor with masks and inpainting alongside the video studio, and a picker where you choose between 43 models and read the price of each one before you press the button.
Runway runs the models Runway trained, and Bildy runs models from nine companies
On Runway you pick between Gen-4, Gen-4 Turbo, Gen-4.5 and Aleph, plus a few third-party image models. On Bildy you pick between Veo, Seedance, Kling, MiniMax, LTX, Wan, Luma and Runway for video, and a longer list for pictures. Running Kling and Veo against the same prompt takes two clicks.
